Summer is not over yet, but if you are looking ahead to the first day of school, here are a few things you can do now to be prepared

The Golden Tornado Scholastic Foundation, Inc.'s annual Tuff Tornado Run is just around the corner! Register by September 6 to receive a free t-shirt. 

The Butler Area School District invites students, families, staff, community members, and local business leaders to participate in a Strategic Visioning Event designed to help shape the district's future priorities and long-term strategic plan.

SummerFest registration is now open to Butler Area School District students entering grades 6-12. Students entering grades K-5 may also still register. 

Butler Area School District families and friends are invited to be part of Butler's first-ever Steeples & Stacks Heritage Weekend, a community celebration of our city's rich history, arts, and culture!

One highlight will be a special performance by our own Butler elementary choir students on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at 11:00 am at the Butler Little Theatre. 

All incoming BASD 4th and 5th grade students are welcome and encouraged to participate in this special America 250 patriotic performance! Register: https://bit.ly/4dw6bYH.

Although the school year just ended, now is the time we begin planning for the upcoming school year.
